I’m passionate about making high-quality recreational gymnastics and movement opportunities accessible for families across Western North Carolina.

Growing up, I learned so much through the gymnastics programs at my local YMCA and continued participating in the sport through high school. Those experiences helped build my overall strength, wonder, and grit. Today, as the parent of an active, sensory-seeking child, I have an even deeper appreciation for the role physical activity plays in healthy development and family well-being.

At SWAG, our vision extends beyond gymnastics classes.

Too often, children’s activities become quick drop-off and pick-up experiences, with little opportunity for connection. We believe families deserve spaces where they can grow, play, learn, and build community together. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment that supports not only children, but also the parents, caregivers, and families raising them.

Our future facility is designed with that vision in mind. We plan to offer parent-child movement and play classes, parent support groups, USA Gymnastics aligned recreational classes up to Level 4, perinatal yoga, open play opportunities, and sport agnostic injury-prevention conditioning sessions for older athletes.

At SWAG, we believe childhood should be active, joyful, and full of wonder.
